In the moment...

I love the weekends.  Cherish.every.single.ounce.of.them.  When I let go, and be in the moment, I have the best time with my baby.  Sometimes I have to remind myself of this though.  A simple walk to the neighborhood park yesterday was when I really realized how important it is to enjoy and live in the moment with him.  If you can do that, you can have so much fun!  We sang songs all the way as I pushed him in his car, and sang more songs as I helped him with the see-saw.  WE had a blast pushing Woody and Jessie down the slide over and over and over again.  I lived in every single moment with him.  We discussed, we sang, we loved.  It is those days that I love the most and don’t want to end.  This kid is my world, and he has Matt and me cracking up every day over the things he says.  Sunday nights are so depressing.

Another awesome event I must document is that my boy is full on potty trained now.  It’s been a long 3 months, but I can say it was all worth it now.  MY KID POOPS IN THE POTTY NOW!!!  I know he is completely trained now because he is FINALLY telling us when he needs to go too.  Yes, I still ask him “do you need to go potty” what feels like 500 times a day (and he usually says no), but he is also telling us when he needs to go.  Therefore, my anxiety over possible accidents has significantly decreased this weekend.  Praise the Lord, this potty training marathon is coming to an end.  It was a crappy ride, literally.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.  We went to our friend, Heather’s, annual Kids Halloween party Sunday morning.  It was so much fun.

You can't tell in this picture, but Parker has his arms wrapped so tight around our necks.  It was cute.

Waiting in line for "Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin".  I love they way Charlie is looking at Hadley.

Group Shot.

He was a little off.  He was blind folded though.

His "CHEESE" face

Love the excitement on his face! Finished the weekend off at Taco Mac for dinner.
Above is my crazy kid being a "monster" with his underwear on his head and socks on his hands.  This is a typical night in our house.
